Papa CJ
Board Member, Co-Founder

Papa CJ is a world-renowned stand-up comedian, executive coach and published author. He holds a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Oxford. As an Executive Coach he has worked with 50+ blue-chip companies across the globe. He has been invited to speak at Harvard Business School and written for Harvard Business Review. He has worked across cultures in over 25 countries. His experience and expertise exist at the intersection of creativity, communication, humour, storytelling, business, leadership development and human interaction. His life’s mission is to uplift others and help them be the best version of themselves.

Papa CJ has won awards for Asia’s and India’s Best Stand-up Comedian and performed over 2000 shows on stages that include full houses on Broadway in New York and the Sydney Opera House. His autobiography titled ’Naked’ was launched at the Jaipur Literature Festival. He undertakes philanthropic initiatives through his Happiness Project, which includes performing for terminally ill patients in their hospital rooms.

PHYLLIS POST
Chairperson, Board Member

Phyllis Post, formerly Vice President & CIO for Global Human Health at Merck & Co, currently serves as an advisor, board member, coach and digital transformation consultant across a number of different companies. In her role as CIO for Global Human Health she was responsible for enabling business value and transformation through a strategic partnership of Business and IT. This included the design, delivery and implementation of both foundational and innovative, leading-edge technology platform solutions and digital services to support enhanced customer engagement, value-add automation and robust analytical insight and decision-support. Previously at Merck, Phyllis served as the MSD Asia Pacific Regional Leader with responsibility for establishing an IT Regional Innovation & Development Center in Singapore as well as enabling a strategic business and IT regional partnership to support critical business objectives. Since joining the company in 1998, Phyllis held a variety of IT leadership positions across the enterprise. Prior to her tenure at Merck, Phyllis served as General Manager for a variety of mid-tier typesetting and web development companies that were primarily engaged in the publication of financial, scientific, medical and technical materials. Her broad global experience provides a robust foundation for delivering business value to enable corporate strategies and solutions that balance and integrate the needs of the enterprise and regions/markets, while also delivering business agility.

JOJO GUINGAO
Board Member, Advisor

Jojo specializes in enterprise application development, digital transformation, and corporate innovation. He has over 30 years of senior leadership experience in the technology industry having worked for various software companies including Autodesk, ESRI, and Critigen. He also founded Pacific Data Resources who provided mapping solutions and services to US local governments.

He is currently the Chief Solutions Officer (CSO) of Navagis Inc, a Google Cloud Premier Partner. He just completed an assignment in one of the largest conglomerates in Asia Pacific as the Chief Digital and Innovation Officer of the Aboitiz Group where he led their digital transformation and innovation initiatives.

Jojo also found time to co-wrote “Inside AutoCAD 14”, published by New Riders and translated in 18 languages. He completed his MBA at California State University and BS in Electronic Engineering at Mapua University in the Philippines.

PROF. ALEX SIOW

Board Member, Chairman, Technology & Innovation Committee

Alex is currently Professor (Practice) in the department of Information Systems and Analytics of the School of Computing, National University of Singapore and a teaching staff of the Advanced Computing for Executives, an Executive Education Centre. He was former director of the Centre for Health Informatics.

Prior to the current appointment, Prof Alex was the Managing Director, Health & Public Service at Accenture. Alex started his career as a Structural Engineer in the HDB in 1981 and appointed the Chief Information Officer in 1989. In 2003, Alex joined the private sector and became the Senior Vice-President in StarHub Ltd. He held various portfolios including Head, Business Market, CIO and Head, Enterprise Risk Management.

Prof Alex was very active in the IT Community. He was the President of the Singapore Computer Society from 1997 to 2001. He was the President of IT Management Association from 1995 to 1999. He was the first President of the Singapore Chapter of the Project Management Institute and served from 2001 to 2012. From 2001 to 2005, Alex was the Chairman of the e-Learning Chapter of Singapore IT Federation and is currently the Chairman of the Cloud Security Alliance Singapore Chapter

Alex is currently Chairman of Toffs Technologies Pte Ltd, an independent director of Tee International Ltd, a member of Temasek Polytechnic Board of Governors, a member of the Board of Trustees of Singapore University of Social Sciences and a member of Board of Directors of the Ang Mo Kio Thye Hua Kwan Hospital. He is also a director in DART Consulting and Training Pte Ltd and Wesan Future Design Pte Ltd. He is a strategic Advisor to Nityo Infotech, Alibaba Cloud and U3 Infotech.

Prof Alex’s expertise is in IT Governance, Enterprise Risk Management, Management of Emerging Technology and Technology Roadmap Planning. He is also active in the Fintech and blockchain community.

Prof Alex’s book “Leading with IT: Lessons from Singapore’s first CIO”, published in Feb 2021, was on the Amazon Singapore’s bestsellers list.

Dr. Lisa Friedman

Dr. Lisa Friedman, is a co-founder and partner in the Enterprise Development Group. She works with leaders and teams globally to facilitate a shared understanding of the trends transforming their industries, to set a clear innovation strategy for the future, to install simple but powerful innovation practices and tools, and to design their organizations for the future. She is a frequent speaker on “Innovation Silicon Valley Style” and future-driven leadership. Lisa is a co-author of The Dynamic Enterprise: Tools for Turning Chaos into Strategy and Strategy into Action, Creating Value with CO-STAR: Perfecting and Pitching Your Brilliant Idea, and several articles and book chapters on innovation leadership. Dr. Herman Gyr

Dr. Herman Gyr, is a founding partner of the Enterprise Development Group and creator of the Innovation Blueprint, a model for engaging leaders and other stakeholders in the transformation of their enterprise. In projects ranging throughout the United States and Europe to Asia, South America and South Africa, Herman has specialized in working with enterprises living through periods of dramatic disruption – many of them underestimating the potential for achieving their highest aspirations during periods of change. He is co-author of The Dynamic Enterprise: Tools for Turning Chaos into Strategy and Strategy into Action and is a frequent invited speaker and workshop leader around the world on strategic thinking and business transformation in the digital era.

Carsten Primdal

Carsten Primdal is a Sustainability, ESG and Modern Slavery Advisor. Business Engagement, Risk identification, Mitigation and remediation Specialist.

He has successfully delivered projects in Process Improvement, Frameworks, Risk, Sustainability, Ethical Business including modern slavery, Health & Safety(OHS) and Shipping.

He has extensive experience in assisting businesses from Europe, USA, Japan, Australia and elsewhere in risk mitigation and compliance regarding their overseas manufacturing and sourcing.

Working with major brands and living and working in China and Australia, Carsten’s clients benefit from his professional and personal ties with China and Asia. He freely shares his perspective & understanding of the challenges faced by them in regular blog posts, posted on Huffington Post (US Edition), and other prominent websites.
